Tea Time Tuesday~

Tea time stirs up pleasant memories for most, of friendship and a way to find respite from the world.  It evokes memories of fine china and silver and beautifully laid out tables covered in embroidered or lace table cloths.  For some it calls to mind  an era of femininity and decorum.

It is so much more than just a time of relaxation.

Let's be honest, we live in a fast paced world, filled with daily stresses. Many of us have heavy burdens, heavy things going on in our lives.  We need to soak in His Word. We need to take in~ or we'll have nothing to give.  We need to make time to be in His Word everyday. Take the time for tea, make time with Him.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30

His love for us-it's incomprehensible. It's unimaginable. It's amazing and forever.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

Why "Tea Time Tuesday?" It's simply a time for you and me,  to grab a cup of tea or coffee, and sit and share God's word. For us to encourage each other in our faith.

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Anytime, anyplace and any moment is a good time to be in God's word, to be in prayer.  Anytime is the right time for prayer, praise, thanksgiving and forgiveness.

Because God's word is important.

It's all you need.

And maybe some tea.

Ok. Tea and snacks.

I hope you found some spiritual encouragement from today's post.

In His Love,
